California Military Museum

The museum exhibits California's rich militia and military heritage from pre-statehood
to contemporary times. The museum holds more than 30,000 artifacts, documents
and memorabilia, a historical research center, gift shop and event space. Opened
in 1991, it is the official military museum and historical research center of

The Sacramento River Train offers scenic 28-mile trips from Woodland to West
Sacramento along the Sacramento River and over the longest wooden trestle in
the West. The Sacramento River Train is the sister railroad of Skunk Train and
